About the Bow River Chapter

The Bow River Chapter of Trout Unlimited Canada was founded in 1985 by a group of fishermen dedicated to support of the Bow River fishery and its ecosystem. The Chapter now has more than 500 active members.

The Bow River Chapter has undertaken  a complete review of the chapter’s operation and generated a Strategic Plan for the future operations of the organization. The plan can be found under the title, “A Vision for the Future – Part 1: Plan Mandate”, and ” A Vision for the Future – Part 2: Implementation” in the “News and Reports” section of the website.

The chapter pursues the Trout Unlimited Canada Mission Statement
