Legacy Island: Summer 2003

Summer 2003 saw the TUC-BRC complete work on Legacy (formerly Janzen’s) Island. The chapter developed a parking area on the island and fenced in an area in an effort to stop unnecessary traffic. Signage has also been put in place that specifies no fires and no camping on this public access. As part of the lease agreement, the chapter agreed to rename the island. The new name of “Legacy Island” was announced at the 2003 Fall Splash.
